Welcome to the studio
Vivoe is a creative folding workspace that turns a photo or a plain paper color into a guided digital origami experience. This agreement describes the everyday expectations that help the app remain useful, respectful, and easy to understand.
By opening and using Vivoe, you agree to follow these studio guidelines. If a part of this agreement does not work for you, you can stop using the app and remove it from your device. You can still keep any images or GIFs that you previously exported to your photo library.
Access without an account
You may use the main folding experience without creating an account. Preferences, favorites, progress indicators, and saved vault pieces are associated with the copy of Vivoe installed on your device rather than with a remote identity.
What account-free access means
- You do not need to submit an email address, phone number, password, display name, or profile photo.
- There is no cloud account to recover if the app is deleted or the device is replaced.
- Locally stored projects may disappear when Vivoe is removed, device storage is cleared, or the operating system removes app data.
- Exported images and GIFs are separate copies. Once saved to Photos or shared elsewhere, they are managed through those destinations.
You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and for creating any backups you want to keep. Vivoe cannot restore a local vault from an account because no Vivoe account is created.
What Vivoe provides
Vivoe offers a collection of origami templates, step-by-step crease instructions, animated folding previews, paper appearance controls, rotatable finished-piece previews, a local keepsake vault, optional process GIF creation, photo export, favorites, and optional voice notes for saved pieces.
Templates are creative guides. Digital previews illustrate how a design can look, but they do not guarantee that a physical paper model will fly, float, support weight, or behave exactly like the on-screen version. Results vary with paper, image framing, device size, and the choices made while adjusting effects.
Your part in the process
You choose the source image or paper color, template, crop, visual settings, and whether to save or export a result. Review your crop before folding and review the finished preview before sending it to another destination.
Your photos and creations
You continue to control the photos, voice notes, captions, and other material you bring into Vivoe. Using material in the app does not transfer ownership of that material to Vivoe.
Please use photos and recordings that you created, that you have permission to use, or that are otherwise appropriate for your personal creative work. Be considerate when a photo or voice note includes another person. Avoid content that is deceptive, threatening, exploitative, invasive, or intended to harm someone.
Vivoe may transform a selected image to create crops, textures, folded facets, still images, and animated process files. These transformations are necessary to provide the feature you selected. The resulting artwork combines your source material with the app's templates and rendering style.
Device permissions
Vivoe uses native system permission prompts. A permission request does not appear merely because the related feature exists; it appears when the app reaches the corresponding action or, for the tracking choice, during the protected startup step.
- Camera: used when you choose Camera to capture a new photo for an origami sheet.
- Photo library read access: used when you choose Photo Library to select an existing image for cropping and folding.
- Photo library add access: used when you choose Save to Photos to add a finished PNG and, when available, a process GIF.
- Microphone: used when you choose Record voice note inside a saved piece. Recording stops when you tap the stop action or leave the detail screen.
- Tracking choice: presented through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt so you can decide whether app activity may be used for promotion attribution across other companies' apps and websites.
You may decline a permission. Features that do not need that permission remain available. A feature that depends on declined access may be unavailable until you change the permission in device Settings.
Studio care rules
Use Vivoe in a way that keeps the experience reliable for you and others. Please do not attempt to interfere with app operation, bypass platform safeguards, probe private implementation details for harmful purposes, distribute altered builds as if they were official, or use automated activity that overloads any connected platform service.
Do not use Vivoe to create or distribute material intended to impersonate, harass, shame, exploit, or mislead another person. Do not remove creator marks from material when you do not have permission to do so. When you share a finished piece, consider the audience and the source photo.
Vivoe may protect its templates, visual assets, interface artwork, and app code from unauthorized extraction or misleading redistribution. You may enjoy the app, create personal projects, and share your exported pieces; you may not present Vivoe's software or template collection as a product you created.
Saving and exporting
Saving to the local vault creates files inside Vivoe's device storage. Depending on your choices, a record can contain a finished image, a process GIF, a custom cover, effect settings, and a voice note. Deleting a vault piece removes the files associated with that piece from Vivoe's local storage.
Saving to Photos creates another copy outside the local vault. Deleting the Vivoe vault record does not automatically delete copies already placed in Photos, Files, Messages, social apps, cloud backups, or other destinations. Manage those copies in the destination where they were saved.
Export quality can be affected by the source image, available memory, device capabilities, operating system behavior, and output format. Long animations may take more time and storage than still images. Keep the app open while an export is being prepared.
Updates and availability
Vivoe may evolve over time. Templates may be refined, visual effects may change, performance may improve, and features may be added, reorganized, or retired. An update may be needed to keep the app compatible with a newer operating system.
We aim to make the core experience dependable, but uninterrupted operation cannot be promised for every device, file, or system condition. Temporary interruptions may occur during installation, low-storage situations, permission changes, damaged source files, or platform maintenance.
If a saved project matters to you, export a copy and maintain your own device backup. Local-only storage is convenient and private, but it is not a replacement for a backup plan.
Feedback and communication
You are welcome to share folding ideas, accessibility observations, bug reports, template suggestions, and design feedback. Include the app version, device model, the template involved, and a clear description of what happened. Do not send private photos or voice recordings unless they are necessary to explain the issue and you are comfortable sharing them.
Feedback may be used to improve Vivoe, clarify instructions, tune rendering, and plan future templates. Sending a suggestion does not require Vivoe to implement it or create an ongoing support relationship.
Changes to this agreement
This agreement may be revised when Vivoe's features, storage behavior, permission use, or support practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. A meaningful update may also be highlighted in the app or alongside a future release.
Continuing to use a newer version of Vivoe means you are using the app with the updated studio guidelines. You can keep a copy of this page by using the copy button, printing it, or saving the HTML file.
